Lights by truck and by trim

Bronco lighting runs from the cab to the grille. Four dome lights plug into the rear reading light without cutting a wire, and the rear window lights replace the hinge cover on a 2021–2024 hard top. Grille lights fit only the high-series grille of the Badlands, Wildtrak and Everglades. The A-pillar mounts hold one or two pod lights per side and come without lights.

On the Maverick, two side markers take the place of the side emblems, and a roof bar with 24 LEDs is meant for camp and off-road use. Tacoma fang, fender and grille lights each fit a different set of trims, so hold your factory trim up against the fitment photos first.

What the lighting standard covers

Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No. 108 covers original and replacement lamps. In a 2019 letter, NHTSA's Chief Counsel wrote that an added front lamp must burn steady rather than strobe, that amber and white are permissible on the front of a vehicle, and that state and local laws may still limit what you run. Look up your state's rules before you wire pods or a light bar for the road.
