About the Mabett Hood Struts

Lift the hood of your 2024–2026 Tacoma a little and these gas struts carry it the rest of the way up, so you no longer hold the hood with one hand while setting the prop rod with the other. The kit also fits the 2025–2026 4Runner, all trims and engines in those years. It replaces the factory prop rod and bolts to factory mounting points with basic hand tools, no drilling or cutting. In the box are 2 struts, mounting brackets, hardware and instructions, and the steel brackets carry a black rust-resistant coat.

In bed, tailgate & towing for the Tacoma you will find it next to the Retractable Ratchet Straps, both part of Mabett trail gear.
